Sebastian the Crab

The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney cartoon so I just had to make this little crab one of my quotes.

It’s the new year and while most of us (including me) always look at someones else’s lake and think it’s better over there, one of my New Years resolutions is to remind myself just how green my seaweed is.

Designing Sebastian was a challenge but also a lot of fun. While I was able to create all the elements of his body to be taken in one photo (making of images below), his head was a different story. It's very important to replicate the proportions of a notable character as precise as possible to make them look like the true character. To do this I made each aspect of Sebastian's face and then photographed them separately. I then layered them together on the computer and utilized my graphic design skills to place them in the right orientation to create his face.
